What Is Fam Anon Actually?

Families Anonymous is a famous cooperation which supports family members and companions who are badly affected due to someone else's usage of mind-changing substances or behavioural issues. In 1971, the Fam Anon was founded by a group of families in America. They started their first group in London in 1980, and now around 50 groups are working in different areas of the country.

The Fellowship is a self improvement association which has program of 12 Steps and 12 Traditions initially detailed by Alcoholics Anonymous.

How Can We Help?

The goal of the group is to provide a place where experiences and worries can be discussed and to assist family and friends of individuals with a current, previous or suspected drug issue by offering mutual support. The group members learn how to live with the issues that are affecting their lives.

Experience has shown that help for the drug-dependent person means help for the family and friends.

Embracing a straight and unwavering approach with the addict is what members learn when they attend these gatherings. This type of relationship often influence the addict and makes him/her want to live drug-free life.
